A major law firm with offices across multiple states was running on infrastructure that had quietly fallen behind the business. Phones were traditional lines, and the firm’s data lived on a single aging, slow server in the Los Angeles office, the kind of setup where one location holds everything and every other office works at a distance from it. Turning Point modernized the whole thing.
Phones that follow the people
We replaced the traditional phone lines with a cloud IP phone system, so everyone across every office reaches everyone else by extension. Attorneys and staff can carry their extension on their cell phone, which for a firm whose people are constantly between offices, courts, and clients is the difference between being reachable and not.
Off the old server, into the cloud
The aging Los Angeles server is gone. We migrated more than seven terabytes of firm data to secure cloud storage with backup, so the data no longer depends on one box in one office that everything else leans on. It is protected, backed up, and reachable from anywhere the firm works.
Every office on one secure network
Each office now runs a site-to-site VPN into Azure, so all locations reach the same data and collaborate as one firm rather than separate islands. A document worked on in one city is the same document everywhere, over an encrypted link, without anyone thinking about where the data physically lives.
The result
A firm that used to depend on a single slow server now runs distributed, secure, and modern: cloud telephony that travels with its people, terabytes of data protected in the cloud, and every office connected over its own secure tunnel, all backed by 24/7 support.
